Market News - Local Consumer Campaigns
Fine Art International, publishers of the Amelia Renfrew range of greetings cards, is offering retailers that stock its products a free ongoing marketing campaign. The supplier said that the plan is proving to be extremely popular with its customers.
The free campaign aims to create consumer demand for the Fine Art International ranges by advertising in local press, therefore generating extra customers for stockists. Fine Art International said that this is the first of a number of consumer-focused marketing activities that it intends to run.
It said that it will be implementing these local schemes in all of its customers’ regions, regardless of retailers’ size or order volume.
Fine Art International director John Parkinson said: “We feel that it is not good enough in today’s climate to just push stock onto retailers. We believe that by creating customers for our retailers everyone wins.
“The customer gets a quality product, the retailers get sales and future customers that they would otherwise not have had. We and the retailer turnover our stock more quickly. This we hope will also help us build long-term relationships with our retail customers.”
Fine Art International is a UK company based just outside of London. It sells art-led products, including greetings cards, prints and ornaments, to the retail trade.
